About us

OUR SHOP is an Aladdin's Cave full of photographic goodies. You'll maybe find that filter or obscure adaptor ring you've been searching for! Many small items are naturally not on these lists. Also: Microscopes, Telescopes, Binoculars, optical instruments, etc. Whatever your interests, you'll hopefully find them here at very competitive prices. We are in the heart of Dorset and the World Heritage Jurassic Coast is only a short distance away....

You'll find our shop at 7 West Allington, Bridport. That's on the second mini-roundabout westward from the Town Hall clock-tower. About 5 mins. walk from there, and very near the bus station. You can park easily nearby. There is free unlimited parking in St. Swithun's Road which you can access by turning right at our roundabout then immediately right again. Alternatively, you can use the car-parks next to the bus station or behind Waitrose supermarket.

We are normally OPEN from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm on WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY. Occasionally, these opening times may alter, so if you are coming a long way please phone or email beforehand to make quite sure. The shop is also open at other times by appointment, and you may find the shutters off on Monday mornings especially, when there are usually lots of parcels to pack, but this is by no means certain.     For shop purchases we only accept cheques or cash. There are cash machines outside Waitrose and Nationwide opposite.  

 

MAIL ORDER : Please include extra for postage and packing costs, eg SLR camera £5, most lenses £2.50. Please ask about Air postage rates worldwide. It's a good idea to phone or email first to check what you are ordering is still available. (Cheques payable please to D.PALMER.)

And if you are not entirely happy with any purchase, simply return the item (undamaged of course!) within 3 months, and get your money back. It's as simple as that.
